Cinta Vidal

Born in Barcelona, Vidal studied illustration at Escola Massana in Barcelona and learnt classic painting techniques working as an apprentice at Taller de Escenografía Castells Planas in St. Agnès de Malanyanes (near Barcelona). There she worked with the whole team on many extra-large format backdrops for opera and theatre companies from all over Europe and the rest of the world (Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Sydney, ...)

She has published the illustrated book "El drac de l'estany" with Ediciones Baula.

Cinta currently works as a freelance illustrator for advertising agencies and other companies (Barcelona, ​​New Jersey, Australia) and in many personal projects.

"I do not remember the last time I left home without a notebook to draw what I see, notebooks where I try to reflect the complexity of human relationships from different perspectives.
I never wanted to commit to a single style, even if that's the common thing to do: each new project, painting, illustration, client, idea... is thoroughly analysed and after that process, what should be told and how it should be told will arise."
