Pete Bakacs is a painter based in Ocean Grove, Victoria, who has a love for mid-century design and vintage cars. A Melbourne native, Pete spent his childhood in the outer eastern hills subsisting on a diet of skateboarding, cartoons and 70s cars. With a fastidious hand, Pete reveals a bright, acrylic world of vehicles, old school pastimes, and pop typography.
